sustainability

our approach

We recognise the importance of reducing the environmental impact of the products we supply and the way we operate.

Our approach focuses on practical improvements, including reducing unnecessary packaging, offering more responsible material choices, managing waste at our UK production facility and working with our supply partners to better understand the environmental characteristics of our products.

We know sustainability is an ongoing process, and we continue to review our products, materials and working practices to identify where meaningful improvements can be made.

products and materials

We look for opportunities to offer products made with recycled, recyclable or more responsibly sourced materials where they are suitable for the intended use.

We consider factors such as material content, durability, packaging and end-of-life options when selecting and developing products. Where products carry recognised environmental certifications or verified material claims, we aim to make this information clear and accurate.

packaging and waste

We work to reduce unnecessary packaging and favour paper and card alternatives wherever they are suitable for the product.

At our UK production facility, cardboard, paper and recyclable plastics are separated and sent to local recycling facilities. We continue to review our packaging and production processes to identify practical ways to reduce material use and waste.

durability and product choice

A product that is useful, well made and suitable for its intended purpose is more likely to be kept and used for longer.

Quality, durability and practicality are therefore important considerations when we select products. We also work with customers to explore options that suit their needs while avoiding unnecessary materials, features or packaging.

working with suppliers

We work with established supply partners and request relevant information about product materials, packaging, certifications and environmental claims where appropriate.

We encourage suppliers to identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve material choices and provide clear supporting evidence for sustainability claims. This helps us give customers more accurate information and make better-informed product decisions.

continuous improvement

We recognise that sustainability is not a finished project and that there is more work to do.

We will continue to review our product range, packaging, waste streams and internal working practices, and will focus on changes that are practical, measurable and capable of making a genuine difference.
